Day 14 – Fire in the February Sky

I’m a sucker for a beautiful sunset.  I shot this near the World War 1 Memorial in downtown Kansas City -  a great location for all sorts of shooting.  This is actually a combination of two exposures which allowed me to keep from blowing-out the sky while keeping some of the foreground details.  The sky looks warm, but my fingers were numb from the cold after I was done shooting.  Yes, I should have brought my gloves…

Kristy – Thanks! I’m glad you like it. Keep following along! I checked your daily photo site (The World of Chilly) and you’ve got some great stuff – I’ve bookmarked it. ;)
